Minsport provides complete control over the proceedings and the financing of reconstruction and construction of NSK Olympic, and there is no doubt that the stadium will be ready to adopt the Euro 2012 matches at certain dates.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Family, Youth and Sports, said of the Minister Yuriy Pavlenko to the outcome of the meeting of Staff for the reconstruction of sports on 30 July.

All work on the renovation and construction are in accordance with the approved schedule, and there is no doubt that the stadium will be ready within the time frame of UEFA, - said Yuri Pavlenko.

He also informed that in pursuance of the recommendations of the Cabinet and an independent expert group Minsport implemented several changes in management structure NSK Olympic. Their goal is to improve the system of project management, greater control over quality and timing of performance and more efficient use of budgetary funds.

Minister also has the task to ensure maximum transparency and openness of the progress of reconstruction and construction. Compliance with the requirements of UEFA arena and timely completion of its construction are the main condition of the final match in Kiev Euro 2012. Construction and assembly works at the sports complex began Dec. 1, 2008 and implemented by the holding company Kievgorstroy. Its completion is scheduled for December 2010 and the introduction of the stadium - in June 2011.

Total capacity of the stadium will be upgraded to 69 423.
